We've put together several of the questions we are commonly asked for your enjoyment and information.
Q: What got you into paintball?
A: Both Fly and Merlund have been involved with paintball since high school. The combination of the unique sport, adrenaline rush, customizable equipment, and team atmosphere were very attractive and interesting to us. Most other sports don't allow you to show WHO you are unless you're very skilled unlike with paintball. Fortunately, we met in college, started a college team, and played against other colleges. This experience was a lot and from there we discussed going into business with the name 'Streamline' as Merlund had been using it since his early years of high school. Q: Do you have a paintball field?
A: As we can't disclose much information about that right now, we can say that it will be a top of the line facility. We've played at a number of fields that have fixable flaws and their mistakes are our treasures. When more information is available it will be happily disclosed. Q: How fast can you shoot?
A: Fly can shoot 18bps at times, but normally about 16bps on a constant basis. Merlund can shoot about 15bps on a constant basis. Of course, equipment and settings can make a big difference...though, we are talking about 1 shot per trigger pull. If you can shoot 15bps, you're doing very well. Q: Are you a real company?
A: Define "real" company! Actually, a real company involves an entity which would be an LLP, LLC, or Corporation. We are an LLC with means that we are recognized by the government as a company. Doing business with Streamline Paintball means you're dealing with a company, not just a couple of guys.
Q: What makes you better than similar companies? A: First we must ask, what company is similar to us? Our goal is to be the best paintball company that exists. Of course that doesn't happen overnight but don't be surprised when you start seeing our name frequently. We want your paintball experience to be positive and will always strive to do so. Q: Is the community site, GogglesOn.net, something you created? A: Yes, we decided there needed to be a top of the line community site specifically for paintball. At the time there were a couple sites floating around but they sub-par...so we wanted to change that. GogglesOn.net is a free community which we are proud to call our own.
